Take a cue from the experts, who emphasize the importance of grasping not just the features, but also the benefits and unique selling points. When I chose a leadership training program, I researched over 20 different programs. I choose The Leadership Challenge (TLC) by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner, since the assessment, Leadership Practice Inventory (LPI), had been tested in 189 countries. The benefits are significant with the LPI, since if you took it you would know that the results of the test are accurate about you as a leader.
Another suggestion is dive deep into your product specifications, ingredients, and manufacturing processes. And don’t forget to experience it firsthand – there’s no substitute for trying it out yourself. I took the LPI and then participated in a training course on The Leadership Challenge.
